Mass promotions have been given to students in standard 10 and 12, but no decision has been taken yet for repeater students. Exam date and schedule for standard 10 repeater students have been announced.
Students and parents are confused about whether the exam will be held or not. While some repeater students are protesting the exam, standard 10 and 12 students will have to wait. A decision will be taken on the result of regular students and admission process, after which a decision will be taken on the mass promotion of repeater students.
Repeater students of standard 10 and 12 have not been decided
There are more than 12.50 lakh students in Std. 10 and more than 5.50 lakh students in Std. 12, out of which 8.50 lakh regular students in Std. 10 have been given mass promotion. While no decision has been taken yet for 4 lakh students, no decision has been taken for repeater students of standard 12. At present, the government is confused about how to give results to the students who have been given mass promotion in Std. 10 and 12 and how to give further admission. Mass promotions have been given to regular students, but no decision has been taken yet on how to proceed. The result and admission will then be arranged and decided, after which a decision will be made for the repeater students.
Some degree-diplomas will take admission in other schools
According to an education department official, the government is considering giving mass promotions to repeater students, but at present only regular students will pass more than every year, so 8.50 students have been given mass promotions in standard 10 against 6 lakh students in schools. Then some students will get degree diploma admission, but other students will get admission in the school. Attempts are being made to make adequate arrangements in the school so that no student is left without admission. Following the decision of the regular students, the government will be able to take a decision for the repair students.
The government does not have adequate arrangements for further admission
Many students and student union repeater students are also demanding mass promotions. But at present the government does not have adequate arrangements for further admission, so the decision will be made in phases by arranging for regular students and then report students, so repeater students will still have to wait.
