The Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of Gujarat has constituted an Admission Committee for Nursing and other courses after Std. 12 under the name of “The Gujrat Professional Nursing & Allied Medical Educational Courses”. The above Admission Committee will conduct the admission process for the following courses.
Nursing & Allied Medical Educational Courses Online Allotment process (Online Counseling)

The above Admission Committee will conduct the admission process for the following courses.
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)
Bachelor of Orthotics and Prosthetics (BOP)
Bachelor of Optometry (BO)
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT)
Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP)
Bachelor of Naturopathy And Yogic Sceince (BNYS)
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (Diploma Course)
Auxiliary Nurses and Midwives Course (ANM) (Diploma Course)
Eligibility for GNM ANM Admission:
- be a citizen of India
- overseas citizen of India having domicile of Gujarat State
- have completed 17 years of age on the 31st December of the Academic year 2019 for which the Admission are conducted
- Have passed the qualifying Exam From
(ii) The Central Board of Secondary Education: provided that the school in which the candidate has studied, is located in the State of Gujarat; or
(iii) The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations Board, New Delhi: provided that the school in which I.he candidate has studied, is located in the State of Gujarat; or
(iv) The international School Board {International Baccalaureate and Cambridge): provided that the school in which the candidate has studied, is located in the State of Gujarat; or
(v) The National Institute of Open Schooling: provided that the school in which the candidate has studied, is located in the State of Gujarat
As the Gujarat Nursing Committee does not conduct any entrance exam, therefore the selection of the candidates will take place only on the aggregate marks of Class 12th. There will be separate merit for Category candidates as well for Gujarat B.Sc, ANM, and GNM.
Calculation Process Used To Prepare the B.Sc Nursing Merit List
Total Marks for preparing the list will be based on the total marks obtained in the compulsory subjects in 12th Class.
The Consortium shall issue an advertisement in two English and two Gujarati prominent newspapers widely circulated in the State and invite an application from the eligible candidates for the admissions to the Gujarat Professional Nursing and Allied Medical Educational Courses on the management seats. The Consortium by advertisement shall notify the date of issue of application forms, centers from where the application forms may be obtained and where IO be submitted, last date for submission of application forms, details of fees to be paid and eligibility criteria and numbers of seats available for admission on the management seats and such other information. as may be necessary in this behalf.
