Kisan Parivahan Yojana: Farmers in the state usually use tractors for transportation of agricultural produce and in case of shortage of goods, the tenants deliver the agricultural produce to the farmer’s markets or other markets by other goods carriage vehicles.
Farmers often face difficulties when a vehicle is not available for transportation. Thus, in order to facilitate the transportation of agricultural produce and enable the farmers of the state to install goods carriage vehicles, a scheme has been started to provide financial assistance to the farmers of the state on the purchase of medium size goods carriage vehicles from 2020-21. 100% state-sponsored scheme.
Prerequisite for availing the benefit of the scheme
- Any farmer in the state can avail of this scheme.
- Can take assistance per account once in five years.
- The empaneled model of the company empaneled by the account remains to be purchased.
The method of availing the scheme
To avail of the benefits of this scheme, the farmer has to apply on the i-farmer portal (https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/) and follow the prescribed procedure.
The farmer account holder can avail of the benefit of this scheme subject to the resolution of the Government subject to the scheme resolution.
