Young writers will have the opportunity to expand their understanding and improve their skills through communication in various international events such as literary festivals, book fairs, virtual fairs, cultural exchange programs, etc. At the end of the mentorship, under the mentorship scheme, the author will be given a scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per month for 6 months.

New Delhi: The Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education has launched the Yuva Pradhan Mantri Yojana (YUVA: Prime Minister’s Scheme) to train young writers. This is a writer’s counseling program to train young and budding writers (under 30). So that reading, writing and book culture can be promoted and India and Indian writing can be displayed globally.
The beginnings of youth (young, forthcoming and versatile writers) are in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of encouraging young writers to write about India’s freedom struggle. During the Mann Ki Waat on 31 January 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the younger generation to write in their respective fields about the freedom fighters, the events associated with freedom, the story of heroism during the period of freedom struggle. He said that this would be the best tribute to the heroes of India’s independence on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence.
